Sydney vs. Sandbox (Syd 0, Sandbox 1)
Blogger was down on June 6th... when I wanted to post this entry so, here it is:
This afternoon, following a trip to the store, Sydney fell asleep in the truck. Granted, it WAS naptime for the little fellow, but he DISLIKES going into his bed after we get home from an outing so, he cried until Daddy broke down and "saved him".
It was an incredibly beautiful day! Bright blue sky, lots of puffy, white clouds and a perfect temperature. So, we sat outside. Sydney glanced at his covered sandbox and decided that he wanted to play. However, he kind of DOVE headfirst into the sandbox. (Being overtired may have been a contributing factor.) He whacked his head on one of the plastic pre-molded pieces of the sandbox.
He has a bump on his forehead, a cut on his upper eyelid, a blood clot stuck to his eyelashes, a small puffy area on his lower lid and a scratch on his upper cheek. He, however, quickly forgot about it and started to play in the sand.
Poor little guy...
