My Two Cents
http://www.sarahjane-my2cents.blogspot.com

My premier blog that was going to be similar to Carrie Bradshaw's thought process... typing on her Macintosh computer in Sex&theCity... but has been used mostly for just showcasing the cards that I make. Once I got pregnant, this blog and my creative outlet of card-making and scrapbooking went by the wayside. Every once in a while, when something is bothering me... or I feel the need to write something... I put it HERE.

Clean Plates from my test kitchen
http://cleanplatesfrommytestkitchen.blogspot.com

My newest blog that is food-based. Last year, Mike had complained that we eat the same things over and over again and that he wanted to try something new. So, I made a noble attempt at making and serving one new dish each week. I wish that I would have started blogging it at the same time that we started doing the new dishes because we have had some GREAT dishes, as well as a few that we wouldn't make again. I have made notes in my cookbooks, indicating the changes that we would suggest if we made the dish again. (I think it is only fair to showcase some of the "new" recipes that we had tried and liked, as well as the quest to continue on this cooking adventure.)

2012 UPDATE: I have abandoned the concept of this blog since our household is SO BUSY with two little ones, mountains of laundry to fold and lack of FREE TIME for Mommy to do things that SHE would like to do. We still TRY to make at least one new meal each week... often more... but we don't document it here. (We have a cookbook that gives 12 weeks of meal plans WITH shopping lists and we often write our suggestions in there.) ALSO, with the invention of Pinterest, there isn't much of a need for this one now... unless I just want to go back to print off a copy of one of these old recipes.

My Bucket List
http://crossingthingsoffmybucketlist.blogspot.com

I love, Love, LOVE the movie The Bucket List and what it stands for. A while back, as an entry for a blog giveaway, I had sat down and come up with a Bucket List; I believe I needed 24 items. Then, one day, I was introduced to Jenny Meyerson's LISTS and decided that my original 24 needed some expansion. SO... I added... and added... and added! (I continue to add items as the desire suits me.) AND I am now, making more of an attempt to cross things off of my list. (Perhaps a diagnosis of an incurable disease really DOES bring out some added incentive to LIVE A LITTLE more.)
