Where'd we go?
We have been experiencing technical difficulties for quite a while... computer issues, memory issues, lack of hard drive space.
Hoping a new computer will rectify the situation and we will be able to post again.
We've been busy. New state. New zip code. New address... twice. Hoping to have settled into our HAPPILY EVER AFTER home.
Tiger scout turned to Wolf.
4K came and went. First grade came and went.
Moving on to SUMMER!

advance notice tornado
Thankful for weekly tornado siren tests at noon on Saturdays. Now I know that if hubby's air purifier is running in our bedroom, we will NOT hear the tornado siren going off.
We can hope that Silas, with two bedroom windows and NO noise machine would hear the siren Nd be able to alert us to seek shelter.
Good to know.

Real icicles on roof
TODAY is our first sub-zero day with a low of -2 in the books. The current outside temperature as we climb out of a warm snuggly bed, occupied by ALL FOUR household bodies, was EIGHT degrees, but the REAL FEEL is fourteen below zero!
Both of our vehicles are snow-covered and parked in the driveway because Mike was using the two car garage as workspace during yesterday's construction of a partial wall in the unfinished part of our basement to create a home office.
This morning, icicles hang from the icicle lights and gutters of our house and our neighbors house, too.
Today is a great day to spend inside as a family! Dad has cookies in the forecast.
