You could immediately read FEAR all over his face. He tried to cry, but couldn't.
When all else fails, run to mom... then, give her a GREAT BIG HUG and pat her shoulders (for comfort). I assured him that he would be OK, rubbed his belly and convinced him to hold his arms high above his head (to stretch things out again and open some airflow into his lungs).
About 12 seconds later, he seems to have recovered fully and started running all over the place again. (What a kid!)
