SPIDER HATS at the library

This morning, we went to the library for story time. This was our first time attending the age group for 3-5 years old so, we didn't know what to expect. The boys did FANTASTIC! Sydney sat quietly on my lap and listened to the stories (all spider themed) while Silas entertained himself climbing on Sydney's part of the double stroller and playing with the buckles. (I was REALLY PROUD of Sydney's behavior and would LOVE to take him back for the older group again!)

After the stories and songs, we made SPIDER HATS! (We made one for Silas, too, figuring that he would be disappointed if he didn't get one, too.) They turned out pretty SPOOKY, don't you think?

Sydney was really disappointed when we got home because Daddy wasn't home from work yet, nor were neighbors Frank or Bev's cars home. He REALLY wanted to scare someone with his spider hat, convinced that no one would recognize him.

We've got cute kids!

I teased them that their spider hats weren't going to fit them this afternoon since both boys were getting haircuts. They're still cute!

We made SPIDER HATS at the library today! SPOOKY! FUN!
