What's the score?

On a day that Daddy had planned to watch the Iowa/Iowa State football game on television, we were awakened by Sydney who was talking away, laying contently in his bed. When Mommy went in to say HELLO, she discovered that Syd had turned himself in his bed so that he was laying the short way and was busy kicking his feet between the rungs of the crib. Mommy started to move him, when she noticed a stain on the crib sheet and a corresponding stain on the back of Sydney's jammies. Daddy was invited in for yet another assist.

So, far - within the last 2 days, the score is:
SYD - 3
CLEAN - 0

When the game started, Daddy (dressed in an Iowa State tshirt) announced that Sydney had none of his Iowa State gear on. (Daddy's friend, Terri, has bought Sydney a hat and a bib... both sporting what we like to call "the big red chicken".) We put on the Iowa State sweatshirt from Grandma Olson, along with the hat from Terri so that Syd could root for the Cyclones with Daddy in the comfort of the recliner.

Sydney cried and cried.

Mike soon came into the kitchen and announced "Maybe Syd is an Iowa fan."

Mommy laughed. Then, Daddy asked "Or do you think he might be hungry?"

He seemed satisfied with eating so, Daddy is hoping that Sydney is still a Cyclone fan.

While mommy blogs this story, she thinks that Sydney is asleep in the recliner. (ZZZzzzz... Sadly, football has that affect on Mommy, too. Although Daddy is more than welcome to watch it.)
