Happy Boy

You, Sydney Michael, are a VERY HAPPY BABY BOY!

This past week, you sat in the recliner with Otto. Daddy said Otto even let you grab a handful of his fur and all he did was look at you (probably in disbelief). You like to pet Otto's soft fur. 

Also this week, while you were nursing, Eddy decided to step right on you because he wanted to get closer to Mommy than you were. Daddy and I watched to see what he would do before we intervened. Eddy made his final approach from the back of the recliner, stepping down onto Mommy's breast, while trying to get closer than you. (You never noticed that he stepped onto your belly a few times while you were eating.) Daddy took him away to pet him.

This week, Daddy announced "Mommy, I think Syd's hungry!" (You were sucking on Daddy's nose.)

This week, we tried on your boots. You LOVE walking in bare feet or in your jammies, but we discovered that you don't really like walking in boots. It is a totally new sensation for you... you kind of just drag the toes of your feet, not knowing how to walk in them.

In this picture, you are more than happy to be outside, especially since you can chew on Daddy's finger. (You're LOVING to chew and usually have a little bit of drool on your chin.)

This past week, you have reverted back to the habit of wanting to be held while you sleep. You've given us a run for our money a few nights now... fighting bedtime until close to 11pm. You sure do love to snuggle with Mommy and Daddy though! (And we love snuggling with you, too!)
