He's been on the fussy side during the day from time-to-time, too - which is NOT his nature at all. You know he doesn't feel well (or something is bothering him) when he wants to sit (still) on your lap to snuggle or watch tv. With distractions, he tends to be better though; we had MANY giggle sessions today.
He's been given a dose of infant ibuprofen and after a few (failed) attempts at bedtime, is sleeping in his own bed.
Instead of staying up - just because I can - I am choosing to go to bed (since my uninterrupted sleep has been lacking lately.)
