Today, we decided that it was TIME to feed Silas solid foods; he started on rice cereal this morning. Sydney was REALLY EXCITED to help feed Baby Silas.
We started by letting Silas play with a spoon while sitting in his high chair. Looking on, Sydney quickly corrected him "Turn it around. Utter end _ilas". After handing him the handle to hold, he announced "das bettuh".
Sydney and Daddy fed Silas his
first rice cereal. Silas appeared to like it very much and was quite interested in more, More, MORE - intently watching the location of the spoon at all times.
AND Big Brother Sydney liked being a helper.... just like in his Mercer Mayer Little Critter "All By Myself" book:

Sigh. Our kids are getting bigger!
