Daddy is OFF this weekend so, we declare these days "NO BLUE SHIRT DAYS" in our house! (These are our FAVORITE DAYS... with Daddy home!)

Daddy wanted to go sledding at Grandpa's house (for old time's sake). Daddy and Sydney tested the hill for speed. Then, Daddy sent Sydney down on his own - promising to catch him (from below). Turns out, that twiggy looking bush between the two trees is where Sydney ended up, as Daddy didn't think he would make it that far.
Sending Sydney down alone, he covered his face with his hands - exclaiming that he didn't want to get snow in his face. Good thing, too, since he ended up in the twiggy bush. :)

There they go.... Zoom, ZOOM, Weeee!
Riding down the hill with Mommy. (Mommy was MEAN and uncovered his face so that he could SEE where we were going!)
Heading inside for lunch... chili, grilled cheese sandwiches, celery with peanut butter, carrots and apple slices. YUM! (We had hot chocolate, too!)
After lunch, we (Grandpa Lowell, Mommy, Sydney and Bishop) ventured back out again. Mommy was pushing Sydney on the sled back UP the hill... which is a terrific workout! Sydney was having LOTS of fun riding up and down the hill with mommy; begging to go again! Eventually, he figured out that sledding really IS a LOT of fun!
Sydney was surprised with his BIG WHEEL; unfortunately, it is too big for him to reach the pedals AND make them work (now). Guess he's got time to grow before spring!
Grandpa Lowell reads a book to Silas and Sydney. Soon, it turned into a TICKLE SESSION to make the baby giggle!
We had a great day of family fun!
