A whirlwind week... or two

Unexpected job loss. Inquiry to discover WHAT'S NEXT. Waiting.... Waiting.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! Let's make a deal... what about an alternate location/position? Waiting.... Waiting.... Transition.

Boredom.

Frustration. Scrambling... getting the house decluttered and ready to sell...

Trying to keep it clean... while living in it... with two little boys...

Each time that they eat, I feel like I am watching Cookie Monster's mum-mum-mum with crumbs flying EVERYWHERE...

Each time that they pee, I hope they make it into the toilet and NOT onto the floor.

Trying to keep the house feeling cool... and smelling clean and fresh...

Easier to live elsewhere...

On the road... Over the river...

Home sweet home.

UPDATE: 6.24.15 – Hubby's current career outlook is grim; he refers to his current employment as a "go nowhere, dead end job". (This breaks my heart as this was NOT what he had planned for his/our future and it bothers him terribly; especially with all of the unknown factors of our future.) The good news: he is reporting that his current job has ZERO STRESS! (Technically, he deals with next-to-nothing for customers either.... complete boredom.... TRYING to stay busy each day.) He's spending only 20 minutes longer on the road than his previous work commute (30 minutes each way vs. 20 minutes each way) so THAT isn't "that bad"; PLUS, it is mostly highway miles for his new 20 mile commute. He reported that his worth in the department was that he sold ONE APPLIANCE yesterday. (His co-worker beat him by selling a washer AND a dryer pair.) He's hoping NOT to gain weight in his current position, since he is used to doing a lot more work/walking in his former career path. He DOES look nice in tan pants; his new dress code for his department.

Remaining optimistic that things WILL work out...

The boys and I are THRILLED to be living in WI and seeing Nana every day!

If only our house would get an offer.... so we can turn the page on that chapter of our lives....
