Aunt Sue had sent Sydney an entire envelope of pictures cut out from her magazines. Most of them were (his favorites) dogs and cats. As I pulled them from the envelope, I would ask him "What's this?" to which he would reply the appropriate "WOOF" or "Ee-Ow" (meow).

But perhaps, his favorite (this time) was THE BUTTERFLY! Whenever he sees a picture of a butterfly in any of his children's books, he makes me take off my glasses to give him a butterfly kiss. (He learned THAT from Aunt Sue; that's THEIR special interaction together.)
Sometimes, when we get to the butterfly page in his book, as Mommy announces BUTTERFLY, Sydney replies "Tiss" (which is HIS VERSION of the word KISS).
Last night, Sydney and Mommy taped all of the pictures onto two pieces of cardstock for Sydney to enjoy. It's the simple things in life that bring the most happiness.
Thank you Aunt Sue! (Sydney LOVED it!!! You ALWAYS know how to make him smile!)
