Happy 100

This morning, when I opened my blog, I was greeted by the floating baby widget displaying: 100 days to go!

Excitedly, I report that TOMORROW will be double-digits, people! YAY!

Number 2 has been VERY ACTIVE! This morning, as I lay in bed, I think he had a case of the hiccups. It felt funny! Sydney lays his cheek and/or hands on my belly ALL THE TIME - making me wonder if the two brothers can SENSE each other; I hope they are the best of friends someday! There is also a new fascination with my protruding navel; it gets poked and kissed A LOT!

Number 2 should weigh around 2 pounds now; I read that he's starting to pack on the fat now to fill out his skin. New this week, his eyes are now open, but the pigment hasn't been determined quite yet. (Mike's logistics say that "Any girl babies should get Daddy's brown eyes and boy babies should get Mommy's eye color genes." Mine are a greenish-gray color. Sydney's eyes are still BRIGHT BLUE!) So, it will be interesting to see what color eyes Number 2 has when we meet him in May. We're betting that he'll be SUPER CUTE because our genes seem to blend well together. :)

Adoringly, we call this baby NUMBER 2, but we seem to be getting closer to agreeing upon a name for him. It will be nice to start calling him by his name so that he knows WHO HE IS when he's born. (We talked to Sydney ALL THE TIME when he was in my belly... and by WE, I mean - mostly ME; however, we always called him by name, which was agreed upon MUCH EARLIER in the pregnancy.) SOON, I hope...

Yep, we need to choose his name pretty soon - otherwise, I fear that he will start to think that his name is Old McDonald. :)

Happy 100, Number 2! We're growing more and more anxious EVERY DAY to meet you!

Project Life
On a separate note, I have wanted to participate in the Project Life scrapbooking project. Just last week, the creator of the kit was taking comments on her blog and was giving away 2 kits. (I have had my eye on them for a while now, but they were SOLD OUT!) She got 2,800 entries registered to win one of two kits. One winner was in Oregon; the second winner was in Dubuque, IA. Sadly, though, my name is not TIARA so, I was NOT the winner. :( I am pleased to report that they are back in stock now and I have ordered myself one (with the $85 credit I got from returning A LOT of old MaryKay makeup that was still in the boxes and never worn; YAY for me... that was extra spending $ for something fun!) :) I hope that this will be an easy way for me to get my scrapbooking groove back on - since I haven't really done much of anything since before Sydney was born.

I hope that this PROJECT LIFE kit will allow me to capture a snapshot of our lives, which will be a treasure to look back upon.

Scrapbooking memories from my blog:

Lately, I have also been working diligently on Sydney's album (digitally) when he has been going down for a nap. I hope to get his album caught up before Number 2 joins us; I can't believe I have fallen so far behind. (I am LOVING his album and can't wait to order prints of the 12x12 pages that I am working on!)

I am SO THANKFUL that I have this blog - to capture our lives. The blog, to me, is a treasure. Someday, I hope to order a copy of it (in printed form) so that I have it to hold onto forever; I would probably want to order a copy for Sydney's "baby book" and eventually, for Number 2 as well.

Birthday Gift Ideas...

So, if anyone is looking for birthday ideas for me.... HINT - HINT...
• I like to use Walgreens for printing out our photos... on the rare instances that I actually do just that. (I will need to start printing some out for my Project Life album.)

• It looks like gift cards are available for the partner company of my blogger website to turn my blog into a printed book (to store in our safe as a treasure) OR a cash gift (to me) could be applied toward this purchase:
